Joe Webb is a software entrepreneur, executive, and practice business consultant with more than three decades of experience building companies, developing technology, and helping organizations improve how they operate.
Joe has worked in the software industry since 1992. His career spans entrepreneurship, executive leadership, corporate turnarounds, strategic consulting, and technology investment. He has served on the boards of 28 companies and a leading trade organization and has advised numerous businesses on growth, operations, and market positioning.
His experience includes leadership roles with Hotlines, Inc. and AllMicro, Inc., both recognized on the Inc. 500 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. At AllMicro, Joe joined the company as a senior executive and helped lead a successful turnaround that positioned it for acquisition by The Forefront Group, a publicly traded technology company.
Following the acquisition, Joe joined The Forefront Group as a senior executive and contributed to the company’s growth and strategic positioning through its eventual acquisition by CBT Systems. In 1998, he founded the Internet Technology Venture Capital Group to support and mentor emerging technology and business-systems companies.
Joe has also worked extensively with healthcare practices as a business consultant. Having advised more than 200 practices nationwide, he brings firsthand knowledge of the challenges practices face as they coordinate patient care, staff responsibilities, technology, patient engagement, and growth.
At Cogniveon, Joe applies that combination of software, executive, and practice-consulting experience to the development of connected technology for modern specialty practices. His work focuses on helping practices connect clinical workflows, patient engagement, staff execution, and operational oversight around one patient journey.
